Using Character Points to buy Advantages or Skills?

I'm still reading BASH UE, and trying to understand the rules better. One thing that really stands out to me, is that there is no way to buy additional skills or advantages in the rules as written. I'm already thinking of house-ruling this. Does this seem like a fair pricing scheme for using Character Points to buy Advantages or Skills?

1 Character Point = 2 Advantages
1 Character Point = 3 Skills (or additional Specialties, or a multiplier one point higher)
1 Character Point = 1 Advantage and 1 Skill (1.5 actually, but round down)

My reasoning for the pricing scheme, is that Advantages seem about half as powerful as powers, and Skills seem somewhat less powerful then Advantages.

To have more skills you have the "Skillfull" power that grants 2 skills per character point.

There is an optional rule that lets you buy advantages for Character points (1 for 1).

So: 1 Character point=2 skills=1 advantage
