Breaking Boost into 3 powers.
Intense is a constant bonus to a stat
Boost is a short term bonus to your stat
Aid is a short term bonus to an ally's stat

INTENSE 1-5pts
A stat is increased above normal for a single effect, under certain conditions, or both. Each point increases the stat by +1 if it is for a single effect or condition. Each point increases the stat by +2 if it is for a single effect with a certain condition. The stat cannot be increased above 5.

Examples:
A master swordsman has Intense 1 for a +2 Agility to hit with a sword.
A holy warrior has Intense 1 for a +1 Brawn when fighting an unholy foe.

BOOST 1-5pts
You are able to increase your stats temporarily. Each point increases a stat by +1. Or by +2 if the stat is for a single effect or condition. Each point increases the stat by +3 if it is for a single effect with a certain condition. The stat cannot be increased above 10. It takes an action to activate the Boost. The Boost has a duration of 1 page, it expires at the end of your next panel. Enhancement Duration: 1pt for +1 panel, 2pt for +2 panel

Example:
A master sniper has Boost 1 for +3 Agility to hit with a rifle.

AID 1-5pts, Range
You are able to increase the stats of another character temporarily.

Example:
An officer has Aid 1 with range 5 to give an ally +2 Agility to hit.

Why the difference bonus for the same thing? (Agility Boost with a specific weapon)

Intense means he always has the +2. He's just that good.

Boost requires an action to get the bonus for your next panel. The sniper aims for an action and gets a bonus on his next action.
