Transforming Robots

Post by CuMorrig »

My friend want's to play a transformer in our game. It's set in WWII, but he really liked the Transformers/G.I.Joe crossover comic set inWWII so I guess I can accommodate him.

Anyway, I was thinking he could take the Super Vehicle advantage, but rather than a separate vehicle it would be his vehicle form. Has anyone else done this? Are there any potential problems I'm missing with this?

Thanks for any help.

I could see someone arguing that you gain a whole lot of additional powers for very little cost doing it this way. I think I would handle it with the Shapechanging power, just add on some reasonable limitations.

I'd take Size and Shape-Shifting to do it, along with some powers that he'd have in both forms, like Armor.

They definitely wouldn't have both form's powers at the same time though. They'd either play with the humanoid's powers or the vehicles powers and the vehicle has no arms and legs of course.

Though yeah, shapechange could work too of course.

It is so cool that this system can handle most anything by the way. :D
