Damage Bar (Alternate Damage System)

I noticed on rpg.net that their was a discussion for a alternate damage system, I have also notice people would like a bit of variety in dmg (stun).
Once thing BASHMAN mentioned he has seen in use is a damage bar, so each hero has 10 damage blocks, for each failed multiplier of soak you take 1 dmg bar e.g if I take 30 hits and roll 10 for my soak I take 3 damage bars.
If you take 3 or more dmg bars in a single hit it's a stun.
Also as you get hit it will have an effect on you dice rolls (dice penalties) e.g
1-5 Nothing heroes are pretty tough
6-7 -1 Hindarance
8-9 -2 Hindarance
10 -4 Hindarance
Hero points could be used to ignore stuns, the hindarance etc.
