The number of Hits a FF can take is written as "Mind x10 + 30 for each point in the power you devote to this purpose."

So is that a base of (Mind x 10) + 30/point, or (Mind x 10 + 30)/point?

There is an example in the section on pushing your power that uses Force Field, and in the example it looks like it is gaining just 30 per rank, not 30+10*Mind per rank. So I've been interpreting it as Mindx10 + (30/rank).

10xMind, plus 30 per point of the power is how I read it as well.

Yep, that's right. (30/pt) + (10xMind) the two things are calculated seperately.
