Ammo Gadget and Elemental Conjuring and Mastery questions

I'm getting ready to run my first game Thursday, and have a few questions:

1) For the Ammo Gadget limitations in the core book, is there a particular default "setting" for the Ammunition aspect, or choose what seems appropriate for the power? The core book says that ammunition acts as Burn-Out, Charges, or Finite (plus single use as well), but the write-ups don't designate one of the four choices *'. Just curious if I missed something.

2) Am I right in assuming that conjuring an element (earth, fire, ice, etc.) "only" conjures said element? I.E. one cannot conjure an "ice sword".

3) I would assume [dangerous, I know  ] conjuring an element falls under the simple object description, so shouldn't there be another level above Level 5, otherwise, why ever take level 5?

4) If I wanted an Ice Sword, would a proper way to do so be Conjure 2, then Mastery 1 to "carve" the ice into a sword?

1. No "default" you get to pick. Personally "Finite" is the one I would use most of the time.

2. No- you absolutely could conjure an "Ice Sword", assuming you were for some reason limited to conjuring things only made of ice. Otherwise, why not conjure a real sword?

3. Because what if you want to conjure something that isn't a simple object? What if you want to conjure a helicopter?

4. See 2 above. With conjuring you can just make an Ice Sword- no need to craft it using Mastery.

Thanks for the answers Bashman. Actually, I'm using the Big Chill write up from this forum in tomorrow's game, and he has Ice Conjuring 5. Although no limitation is listed, for some reason I keep seeing this power as creating ice walls, or ice sheets out of thin air, and with your responses, now even an Ice Sword or Ice Castle, etc. Or am I not wrapping my head around this properly?

I understand the Level 5 Conjuring for the helicopter. I guess I was wondering if a simple object of level 5 size (which would be technically one level higher, since simple objects are supposed to be easier to conjure) is even possible, or is level 5 parameters the max for complex or simple objects?

Or... is it possible methinks too much, and I'm not getting this. Perhaps Conjuring an element (fire, earth, air, water, ice, etc.) out of thin air isn't the right power, and more in the realm of x Mastery?

The fact that Conjuring was for ice only should definitely be a Limitation on the power.
