Force Field questions
Are force fields movable?
If I put up a force field around myself (not Armor acting as a psuedo-force field, but the real Force Field power), can I move?
If I use it on an unwilling target, can they move or are they stuck within an immovable bubble?
If a force field is hit, does it take knockback?
Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing, AslanC. My first assumption is that you would need Telekinesis (maybe limited to only work on force-fielded objects) for that.
But could you put Force Field and TK (limited to Force Fielded objects) into a multipower? Does the Force Field created while using the first multipower slot go away if you switch to the other slot to use TK, or does the Force Field remain regardless of what slot you use in subsequent panels.

Hmm. Two more questions:
If I put a force field around a willing target (not myself), can they move or is it immobile like it is for unwilling targets? I'd tend to think it is immobile whenever it is around someone else, that it is only mobile around me because I'm the one controlling it so it can sync to my movements. Is that correct?
If force fields are sometimes mobile (at least on yourself, maybe on allies), then does the protected target get to roll defense when attacked, or is the force field auto-hit? What about an immobile target, like putting a force field around a hostile target or an object? Does it then have a 0 defense?

I find that interesting too. Would you rule a target free of a multipower-daze-effect once the user of the power does another multipower mind-attack on somebody else? This would make powers with an ongoing effect much less interesting for multipower. Especially compared to damage powers as the damage "stays" with the target also after using other multipowers.WaylanderPK wrote:So any power in a multi power (even those with linger or extra duration) turn off if their in multi power and you swap slots?
Another question on forcefields: As I understand the rules the forcefield power - if not bought with limitations preventing that - can be reactivated once a forcefield is about to collapse. How is one supposed to harm somebody with a forcefield?
If the rules are to be understood like this, would it make sense to add the limitation to the power, that it can only be activated once per scene?

Daze would keep lasting, as you said, it is the same as saying the damage goes away from an attack. Since Daze only affects the individuals being affected by it, it is fair that it isn't turned off. However, making a Force Field; you are making an object that other people besides the trapped victim can interact with.
So Force Field, Conjuring, X-Mastery these sorts of "external" effects, I would not allow to continue working.
There are also some attacks that work through force fields. Telekinesis for instance, is a mental power, so it works through force fields. Once a Hero Telepath was fighting a Villain Telepath who was inside a Force Field and she choked her like Darth Vader until the villain passed out.
In addition, characters might have any form of attack with an enhancement "Penetrates Force Fields" or "Affects Ghost Form" or any other sort of thing they want to add, with the Narrator's permission. A power stunt would be a good way to do this as well. Don't forget that a Team-Up action described creatively will award the Heroes a Hero Die. They can use it for damage or to hit; but they can also use it to Power Stunt if they wish.
If one of the Heroes is a gadgeteer, he may spend some time inventing a way to defeat the opponent's force field.
So, no, I don't think 1/scene limitation is required. As written, Force Fields can be beaten. I've used them many times, and all they do is delay someone from taking damage; they don't make it impossible; only inconvenient.

Timing is everything. Everybody holds till the moment the force field is knocked down. Then they all lay into the baddie at once. Since Force Field has the Concentration limit built into it, it takes some time to re-errect it. That gives the other characters a window of opportunity. How is one supposed to harm somebody with a forcefield?
