Basic Action Super Heroes!

Hey folks!

Question: Is Flight considered a super movement power for purposes of determining top speed? I've always assumed it is, but I thought I'd ask, since it doesn't have the word "super" preceding it (like Super Running or Super Swimming).

If I'm right, a character with Flight 5 can take a full-panel action and fly at 250 mph, which is approximately 75 squares? Is that correct?

Yes.

It seems very slow. 250 mph at flight 5? that isnt even mach 1. I bet ironman has flight 4 or 5 and he can flight faster than a jet fighter, mach 2 or 3.

I would multiply by 100 mph instead of 10 mph, at least in flight 5. maybe x50 mph at flight 4.

There are three simple solutions for flight faster than 250 mph:

Super Speed [Limit: Only Affects Movement]

Adding the Space enhancement to Flight

Teleportation [Limit: Only able to move between spaces you can fly]. This latter version makes it possible to do the "Fastest Man Alive going out for Chinese Food... in China" trick. This possiblity also only will cost you 1pt because you can just put it in a multi-power with Flight.
