Basic Action Super Heroes!

how does one end a weaken effect. does it go away over time, fade gradually, or something else?

I would be gone after a scene. You can also end it with a Hero die, the Never Surrender advantage, or the Restore power. I'd also allow someone with Boost, usable on Others to counter it.
