Good day!

Does anyone have, a one, or two page summary of the rules that can be used as a cheat sheet for players?

I did a quick search of the forums, and have had no luck as of yet.

Thanks for the input.

While it isn't geared specifically to players, this might be useful anyway:

But that is a good idea- a general "how to play" sheet. Anybody want to take a crack at it?

I am trying to do some quick hit-and-run gaming with my group.

Switching GMs, and games, see what happens.

So let's brainstorm. What needs to be in this reference sheet? So far I can think of:

Core dice mechanic.
The Dice Roll Chart.
The list of skills/specialties
How Hero Points Work (mention Power Tricks and Attack weak Point)
How Setbacks Work
How Hero Dice Work

anything else? These shouldjust be things that you'll want to look at in play.

I always have the wrestling rules and the Martial arts mastery power printed out separately for quick reference when running a game.

Good idea!

Also would need to include the various Zany Actions, special combat rules, like Called Shots, etc. Maybe Collateral Damage table (heros may want to guess if they have a good chance of smashing through something).

I really like the idea of "EXTENDED CHECKS", so I'd like a quickie note on those on something like this.

Also - since this sounds more like a Narrator Screen... I would consider brief notes on:

- page references for EVERYTHING
- the basic Character Scale values
- Standard Difficulty Numbers
- Situational Mods
- What Can I Do notes
- Knockback rules
- Collateral Damage rules
- Minion rules
- special Villain point rules
- Extended Check rules

"crap... now I want to make a Narrator Screen!!"

Well, the point of this is to be just something for players- not stuff to add to the narrator's screen. So I don't know if the extended checks would need to be on there.

What you can do on your panel, though is a good idea.

Anyone ever get any further with this or a narrator screen?

BAM or Kickstarter?

I would love to support a Kickstarter for a gorgeous, thick cardboard screen. Even more so if it included decorative art from BASH: Ultimate Edition.

I have to admit, though, that I really prefer 3-panel, landscape styled ones over portrait cause I need to see my players without having to stretch up high to peer over the screen. Also, it makes for a wider area to set my notes, dice, munchies, etc.

Ooops. I see that this discussion was originally about handy reference sheets for players. Sorry to sideline the discussion.

I did up a two page hand out for my players when we first began with BASH. I would be happy to email to anyone as a pdf or .doc.

I would post it here, but my service provider never seems to allow me to post attachments to the BASH forums.

If you want a copy, pm me here and I will shoot it to you.
