First Session (In Progress) - Holy Crap Moment
I'm running my first ever game of BASH!, right now. I had to pause the session to report my sister-in-law, playing Kid Dynamo, took out 19 minions in one round.
Dude!!!!

An update: my wife's character, Avenging Angel, dropped Uberman's lieutenant on Uberman from 100+ feet, doing x10 damage to both of them, taking down the lieutenant and hurting Uberman. On the next page, she flew into Uberman and attacked him with her sword, Heaven's Will, and finished him off.
Brilliant!
The whole table of five players and I love BASH! Three of them played in an ICONS game I ran last weekend, and we all think BASH! blows ICONS away.
This game came out of nowhere for me. Thanks, Chris, for taking the time to create it and introduce it to me. Seriously!

I have to be honest and say I'm blown away by how easy this system was to run on a first try. I was really impressed. For the few times I had to look in the book, it was very fast. My first impression was the book wasn't very well organized, but I had no problem finding anything, really. I don't know if it's because of the sense the system makes or there was some crazy subliminal decision-making in the layout (OK, I probably know that's not the case). It could just be the game paradigm is solid, as I think is the case.

Awesome! You're welcome, truly! So were you setting this game in modern Megapolis, or was this a WWII setting, or something else? Was this a one-shot, or a campaign?RonBlessing wrote:An update: my wife's character, Avenging Angel, dropped Uberman's lieutenant on Uberman from 100+ feet, doing x10 damage to both of them, taking down the lieutenant and hurting Uberman. It was a one-shot I had in my head. Modern day, Uberman showed up to spoil the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the American Wonder Memorial Library. He used some tech from his home world to shrink it down to snow globe size, and steal it! The final battle took place at his castle in Germany.BASHMAN wrote:Awesome! You're welcome, truly!
