Basic Action Super Heroes!

If I roll doubles it explodes... I roll the next die and it explodes if it matches.

But if I use a Hero Die and it matches either of the 2 original it explodes... Say I got a 4, 3 and the HD was a 3, it explodes yes?

If it then comes up a 4 does it explode again?

That is my understanding.

I assumed otherwise. If you rolled a 3 and 4, then hero dice is a 3, you'd have to roll another 3 again.

Guess it depends how powerful you want the hero dice to really be! I don't think it's a HUGE statistical difference, I just assumed the continuity of the dice rolls would prevail (ie the 3 becomes the "exploding" value since it first came up).
