How are we going to have any edition wars without a BASH 1E thread?
Man, you shiny-covered UE book holding kids don't know how good you have it. Back in the day we had to print out BASH on our own printer! And there weren't a bunch of pretty pictures because ink cost like $30 a cartridge so you had to use the "printer friendly" version!

While I have never played first edition it probably wouldn't be bad to have a area to discuss first edition, as well as the original Metropolis.
*tosses two shekels on the ground*
*edit, Think I gave away to much money...current conversion rates equal out to 54ยข...oh well, hahaha

Yeah, I know what you mean. I printed out my free copy of the pdf while waiting for the book to arrive in the mail. I used greyscale (b/w) on low resolution, but a couple of months later I reprinted the whole thing again - in color this time! While it is still low quality I have to admit that I prefer it sooooo much more. I even prefer to use my color-printed version more than the hardcopy book itself.

Yeah, my copy of BASH UE is a print out from my PDF too, full color cover, full color Narrator's section page, full color result chart, black and white everything else. Put into really nice page protectors, and put into a black binder, with plastic cover slots, so I could put the actually cover on the front and the chart on the back of the binder for easy reference. I'm glad I went this route, even though I intend to get an actual copy, because the binder is gonna last me longer than a book would and I want a copy just to go on my 'collector' shelf. Trust me, I've got a ton of super-used rpg books that have pages falling out due to massive use over the years, and BASH UE figures to fall into that category.
