Hello everyone, I’ve been lurking about for awhile as I read up on the rules. Great game Bashman!

Now I’m gearing up for a campaign, and I have a question. Does Mind spikes actually stop mental attacks and powers, or only cause damage (while the attack may still work)?

Only causes damage, while the attack may work. But EVERY Mind contest will do damage- so if you have someone w/ Mind Spikes under Mind Control, EACH TIME you make a roll to control them, you'll risk damage!

Thanks. So it could be linked with mind shield so that the mind would be protected and booby trapped correct?
