Clarification on Concentration for ongoing powers

Hi,

The Concentration disadvantage says:
When you use a power with this limitation, you cannot attack (unless the power in question is an attack) or activate any other powers that panel.
For instant powers like energy blasts, that's clear. What about powers with a duration, like Force Field or Summoning? For powers with durations, I've been playing it as only applying on the first page, but thought I'd double check.

What if you apply it to a power with the Maintained quality, like Flight? Would you then have to Concentrate every panel?

And lastly, is there a way to make a power Maintained instead of Sustained? I know there is an enhancement, Second Nature, that does the reverse. Is there (or could there be) a limitation that changes a Sustained power into Maintained?

Part of where I'm going with this is a character concept that has Force Field, but it takes his full attention so it only lasts while he spends his actions each panel on maintaining it. Since Force Field has the inherent Concentration limitation, I'm trying to decide if we add the Maintained quality to it also (via a new limitation) would that represent it correctly.

Thanks!

No the concentration is only needed to turn it on.

Sure, that sounds like a good limitation to have. What to call it though- can't be "concentration" obviously. How about "Requires Focus"? That might sound to someone like you need an item to use it. How about "Disruptable"?

Of course you can always just make "Maintained" a Limitation for powers that are regularly "Sustained".
