How exactly does the Gadget: Ammunition limitation work?

I've just finished reading through the UE book for the second time and I have to say the game looks like a lot of fun.

However, I'm having some trouble with the Ammunition limitation. Maybe I'm just missing something, but can someone explain how the Ammo limitation would work, say, with the "Archer" archtype?

It can work in several ways. One is you have a certain number of "Charges" of each type of arrow (each power, that is). Another is you have "Finite" which means each time you use one of said arrows, you roll a d6, and if the result is at or below the power's level, you use up a charge (and once you use up 3 the power is gone).

Ammunition works just as "Charges" or "Finite" (or burn-out but for arrows that wouldn't make much sense) with the caveat that you get 1 extra use after you "run out". So if you'd normally get 9 charges, you get 10. If you use up the final "charge" of your finite power, you get 1 more single use of it (you find that you have just 1 last arrow left in your quiver).

You can also have a "single use" ammo item, too (but instead of an extra use, it is just really nasty).

Thanks! I think I was getting hung up on Burnout.

Yeah; burn-out makes more sense for a laser-gun or something than a quiver of arrows.
