Basic Action Super Heroes!

I like to write down big/little questions we have while playing the game. Here is a question we hit today:



If you purchase a Burst (or any other Area attack or Range attack) do you HAVE TO use the Burst (or Area or Range) when you use that power?

For Example:

Special Attack 5 (Atk x3, Dmg x2)
Enhancement: Area Medium Burst


ROUND #1
With something like that, can I simply attack without using the Burst? Meaning - it would be an actual "to hit" attack vs. a standard Burst Acrobatics Check (for the target).

ROUND #2
Can I then use the same Special Attack with the Burst on the same target?


And...
What if I have the Enhancement: Linked - Attack Weak Point...?
Can "turn off" my Area Burst, to allow a higher "to hit" roll?

Yes, you need to use it all the time; otherwise, buy it as Variable.
