Trying to come up with a minor defensive power

So as I work on my next project, one villain has a suit that makes them somewhat slippery, making them difficult to grasp (ie grapple). Now I could just go with an agility boost that only works versus grapples, but I thought I'd see if anyone has any alternate suggestions. If I find one I like better, I'll give whomever makes the suggestion a credit in the release. So, any takers?

To be honest I like your idea. The only other thing that comes to mind is to buy levels in Weapon Technique (Grab) that add to Agility.

Edit: actually the problem with boosting Agility is that it effectively makes the character better at grappling which doesn't really make sense if the character is slippery. So the other idea that comes to mind is to use Deflect, which is specifically a defensive power. Take a Situational limitation on it so that it only affects grapples and 'sticky' powers (that way your slippery character is also protected vs appropriate Immobilization special effects like webbing).

Ghost form 2, activation roll 4+, only for purpose of evading grapple/sticky powers.

Can also be done with teleport probably.

Only other thing that comes to mind as close is Martial Art Wrestling, but if you don't picture him reversing the holds it's not worth it for the +1 to Brawn only if you aren't stronger than your opponent already.

Boost Brawn only vs. grabs would be the best way to get it and be more effective, because the Brawn boost would always work regardless of the opponent's Brawn. I'd almost say it was worth a limitation in it even, since it's SO limited.

Anyhoo, 2 cents.

How about an extra effect
Slippery: Boost Agility 1 (defence only), extra effect vs grapples and immobilise (+2)
or
Slippery: Deflect 2 (no reflection), extra effect vs grapples and immobilise (+2)

I like these suggestions. Now to decide which one works best for the concept. Since I'm working on this later, I'll post my decision later

Decided to go with the Deflect. Waylander, you get a credit when this comes out. I'll contact you for your full name when I work on the credits page, ok?

Thanks. I really just codified doktorelektron's suggestions with a little tweak, so perhaps the credit should go to him?
