Power Stunt Question

A question came up with power stunt and super speed.
My speedster used their super speed to power stunt a whirl wind special attack. If I use the special attack power do I still get my extra panels from super speed?
Or more broadly, does the term /use an existing power creatively' meen that you can only use the power stunted power OR the existing power. Obviously some things, like Special Attack and say Daze would be one or the other (they are atatcks and the rules cover that) but what if I used Power stunted Push off Flight (say Hawkman using his wings to push a badguy back), would Hawkman still be able to fly?

Yes; you can keep using the power that the power stunt is based on; so Push to do a wing buffet would still let you continue to use Flight.

Thanks BASHMAN, thats what I thought, but just to be clear, if I stunt an attack off Super Speed I can use that attack in each super speed panel.
i.e If I power stunt Special attack - whirlwind 5, only creatures that breathe, small burst off super speed 5, second nature (6 points), I could attack 3 times.

In that case I'd say "no" as the Narrator, I think because you have to keep running in a circle to keep that tornado going (it's an ongoing effect, right?). I don't see how you'd be able to "attack" with it multiple times; essentially you are creating a "Damage Field" zone, that does damage to people who enter it or are inside it on their turn, right?
I guess you might be able to create another tornado every turn, but you'd be limited to how many you can keep going at once.

mmm, sure if it was a continuing effect, I was thinking of a small whirlwind. vacuum effect to suck the air from a persons lung, so just an ordinary special attack.

See, this is the thing with the Power Stunt; how it works is something really between you and the Narrator.
Personally if you wnated to use Super Speed for Special Attack, and I were the Narrator, I'd likely suggest alternatives, like "I rush around the room and punch him dozens of times in a second"

What you describe sounds like a damage aura power to me. Then you'd have the advantage of the Super Speed Power because you move further and thus can touch more opponents with the Aura.

I can see that, sort of a debris storm that you move across the area.

I don't think there's an issue with how the power stunt works, except that we have had some discussion around if the you can use the power stunted power and the base power at the same time.
Say from your example Bashman, the speedy guy wants to use his super speed (5) to power stunt "Rapid Fire punches" as a x1 Hit Multiplier/x4 Damage Multiplier special attack. The discussion has centred around whether Speedie could still use his Super Speed to get his two extra panels as well as using special attack, or is he 'using' his Super Speed for the Special attack and therefore doesn't get the extra two panels.
Obviously its up to the Narrator in the long run, but what's the general consensus?
