Can Advantages be bought with Experience points?

and if so, how many XP's would they cost?

well, going by the alternate XP rules in the back of the book, increasing an existing power or adding an enhancement costs 6 XP per point spent. Since the alternate rules for buying advantages is 1 pt per advantage, I'd say spending 6 XP for an advantage seems about right (as long as the character can justify adding the advantage)

Yeah, I have a player asking about buying Gadgeteering. I am kind of on the fence about it, but will probably allow it, as he has the background skills to reasonably justify it.

Stuff like Photographic Reflexes, and Dumb Luck, I'd definitely say no on, as those are sort of inherent abilities.
