For quite a while I was under the impression that M-P was only available for 1 additional power. "You can add another power to this one" seemed like a singular statement. At the point of realization it struck me as somewhat broken. I understand that as a Narrator I have the ability to keep it in check, however I let it bother me for some reason. The idea of:
"Cheater M-P"
Teleportation 10
Special Attack(MAX) +enhancements
Conjuration(MAX) +enhancements
Immobilization(MAX) +enhancements
Super Speed(MAX) +enhancements
Flight(MAX) +enhancements
Immunity(MAX) +enhancements
for 20 points seems wrong.
Maybe I am wrong on how it works. I like that Linked is limited. And my players are cheating scumbags! Actually, its not a problem for me in our current game. I think the mechanic seems a little off though. Thoughts? Also, I tried to do a search via the forum and Google for a discussion on this but came up empty. Apologies if I am repeating.
Thanks.

Well you can only use one at a time, which is not a big deal for some of those combinations but for a lot of them it really is. You're not immune to anything while flying, teleporting, running, or hitting things (also known as anytime that would be handy). You have to land to use special attack or immobilize. You can't have anything conjured while doing any of those things, You have to let whatever you have immobilized go so it can chase you. You can't use any of those abilities on any page in which you have three panels.
If you consider how limiting only being able to use one power at a time is, this "cheater" combination is really not worth what you are paying for it.The more you add into it the more limiting it becomes, the point of diminishing returns on this "bargain" is actually pretty low.

Thanks BD. That makes sense and does weaken multi-power quite a bit compared to how I had it built up in my mind. I think I just figured that things like Armor, Immunity, Gliding, etc with the Sustained property were always on even when multi-powered. However, you can bypass some of this to a certain degree by Linking them into sets of 2, right? Regardless, this all gives me some good answers. Thanks again.
