Normal Equipment

Post by Sijo »

I was going over the Equipment Enhancements in Awesome Powers #6, and the Normal Equipment lists in the Ultimate Powers book, and I have a question: should equipment (and its value) be listed separately in the Character Sheet from the powers?

Like, if a character uses normal equipment (say, the Punisher's guns) that's obviously not a Power, should I list it at the end of the Sheet? Obviously, things like Green Arrow's arrows DO count as powers since they are the kind of things you expect to pay CP for.

Also, where would Super Equipment -which is normal equipment that just has a few enhancements, like Multipower- be listed? Assuming it has no powers it otherwise should not have.

I would have equipment listed seperately from the powers; but any equipment that costs CP should be noted as such.

So basically, it would be OK to have an additional section for normal equipment in the sheet (and even then, only for equipment the character carries all the time, not stocked in a headquarter, for example.) I also would not describe the equipment's stats (unlike a gadget) except for any Equipment Enhancements it might have (and its cost of course.)

Right; any of that info can be looked up when needed.
