Shoulder Throw (Push)

Hi,

I just want to check something, I am thinking of adding a shoulder throw (Push) to one of my players.

He has Agility x2 and Brawn X3 (mystery men level)

If I give him Push 1 would that mean.

x2 Agility to hit and then x8 knock back ((3+1)X2)

So say he hits a normal thug x1 brawn and sends him flying into a wall.

He rolls a 7 (7 X 8 = 56 feet) - 10 feet (thugs 1 brawn * 10) = 46 feet.

So the thug takes x4 dmg ignoring armour?

Yes, it would be x4 Damage, but I don't recall that Armor is ineffective against it.

Can you explain this under Push please

" If purchased without range, the user can choose to use a Brawn contest instead of Agility to affect the target (armor won’t help the target)."

Yes, you'd roll Brawn vs. Brawn against the target, because you grab and throw them. It isn't enough just to touch them, like if you were blasting them with some powerful wind. I'd also let the target choose to use Agility if they want.
