Ok, a player took "Zombie mastery" and from the description in the book I have almost literally no clue what the power is supposed to do.
"Change the environment"? So he can use summoned Zombies to do....what? dig holes and wallpaper room and such?
More importantly, this is the same character from above, and he has put the Mastery into that same Multipower...but if he switches to his Zombie Mastery the summoned Zombies vanish, right?

Follow up question
Here's my question in regards to this - does "extended duration" affect mastery powers within a multipower?
ie. If you use zombie mastery to call up some zombies and get them digging a pit for you. If you then switch and summon up bats within the same multipower, I assume the zombie's you've mastered now stop doing your bidding and wander away.
If you have the "extended duration" perk, will the zombie's keep working when you switch you multipower to something else?
What if you don't switch it, but you leave the site, go to another dimension and sleep for a week?
Thanks.

My take on it was as follows....Gendai wrote:Here's my question in regards to this - does "extended duration" affect mastery powers within a multipower?

Switching the Multipower still ends the summon...one power at a time is the reason you get a point break by putting things in a multipower.
Extended Duration means that the summoning would keep going if you past its normal duration so long as you do not switch to another power within the multipower.
See above. What if you don't switch it, but you leave the site, go to another dimension and sleep for a week?

Diehard, the character does not need "Zombie Mastery". He should instead just use "Animation" or "Summoning" to summon the zombies. Zombie Mastery would only be of use here if somebody else summoned zombies, and he wanted to take control of their zombies. That's *all* it is good for.
It is Animation/Summoning that you really want here.
