It is with great pleasure to announce the project launch of a "Living Campaign" for BASH. It will be a Bronze Age, Street Level campaign set in Megapolis approximately a year after the last material published. The goal is to provide 11-12 issues of adventures for Year One that are complete with box text, maps, NPC tactics, and scenes ready for narrators to run. The issues will be serial with multiple plot-lines. The target for this material is conventions and homeplay to gerenate additional BASH fanatics.
So far, my partner and I have a draft character creation and game mechanic guidelines section and a 12 issue story outline. I will be posting the character creation and game mechanic guidelines in discussable bites on the board for everyone to comment and make better.
I would appreciate any volunteer effort. Here are the areas that I foresee needing help in priority order:
1. Map-maker
2. Issue authors given antagonists, plot and setting. For example, we would supply "Col. Mustard in the library with candlestick," and authors would detail the issue from there.
3. Free artists
The timeline depends on volunteer effort.

I'm not familiar with Megapolis, is there someplace I can go for background info?
Feel free to send me some ideas about notable heroes/villains and I'll see what I can do about getting you some pics!

What type of deadline are you looking at for the "issues"? I'm pretty game to pitch in if it's a reasonable timeframe.

It's BASHMAN's
setting.
Thanks for the offer. I'll send you stuff when we're ready.

"Issues" will be four-hours worth of gaming. Send me a Private Message and suggest what a reasonable timeframe for you would be.

Will there be some sort of online info page on the city/setting of Megapolis? As well as the official updates to the story/timeline for the previous year?
I'd find it hard to have a "Living Campaign" without something for Narrators and Players to get a grasp on the overall basics of the setting.
Just wondering how Narrators/Players will interact.

Kevin- I'm cool with that if Saker wants to make (or have someone make) a website with the Living Megapolis campaign info on it, I'd be okay with it- and even put a link to it on the official site (any of the materials Saker sent to me to preview would be fine to put on there).

The first issue of Living Megapolis will provide
1. an introduction to Megapolis answering all important setting questions,
2. rules for character creation, and
3. rules for narrators.
When this is ready to publish, I would appreciate the help to put the information online.
I want to start previewing the campaign rules with the Board members, so people can comment and make the better.

Will this be for convention play like the other "Living" events?
