Just curious as to who plays CoH around these parts.

I played it from the beta up through CoV, up until the big enhancement nerf. We were so disappointed in the staff at that point, with the false info they were giving out, that we left because we didn't like the company more than any problem with the game. I understand things have changed a lot since then, but we never went back.
We tried Champions Online in its beta, but the launch day nerf convinced my group to leave, so it was short lived there. I still have it, but haven't played it much; I prefer to play with my friends and they have no interest in it now.

I couldn't stand Champions Online once it launched... It was like the ultimate bait-and-switch.
CoH has gotten a lot better, but they recently nerfed XP again which totally sucks.
Still, best online Super Hero MMO currently available.

I'm much anticipating DC Universe Online (that is if it actually ever comes out).

My favorite supers videogame rpg of choice- Freedom Force vs. the THird Reich. With the modules that other people make, I've played pulp heroes, Legion of Superheroes, Spider-man, and tons of other things.
However ever since I upgraded to windows 7 I haven't tried to install it.
I played City of Heroes for a month, but I find MMOs get repetitive to me.
Then again, I love Marvel Ultimate Alliance (which is a beat-em-up w/ rpg elements).

Never played an MMO...much prefer TT RPGs!
My wife & I did play the heck out of X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse on the PS2 however. Great fun, loved that game! We leveled the heck out of Sunfire and Iceman and unleashed them on the bad guys.
We've played a bit of Ultimate Alliance, but haven't had time lately to get back into it.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance rocks! Dont' know about MUA 2 though, haven't played it. Especially after I found it was using my less than favorite "Civil War" as a background... peh!
Freedom Force was fun, just the controls drove me bloody insane so I never tried the sequel. Oh and BASHMAN, vs the Third Reich does work with Win 7 apparently.
Back on topic, City of Heroes does get repetitive, but their setting is quite vivid. Quiet enjoyable and well throught out. Arachnos is the best Hydra copy ever.

I have a Champions Online account and honestly like the game much more than CoX, but I don't really play much these days. Most people I know have moved on to other things. I think the launch day thing was retarded on their part but way overblown by the community. My problem with the game is that there just isn't enough world for me. They really need to flesh things out, add in new areas and such.
I loved Freedom Force and FF vs. Third Reich. I ended up buying them through Steam and haven't had an issue with them on Windows 7, so maybe there's some hope BASHMAN.
My all-time favorite supers beat 'em up is Marvel Ultimate Alliance and I am currently playing through MUA2 on PS3. I like it, and the story plays out pretty well, but the game feels much more limited than the first one was. DC Heroes for PS2, Xbox and PSP is another one that I absolutely love and I can't wait for DCU Online.

I bought CoH just for the character costuming builds (many of which looked really cool). I wasn't interested in actually playing it online. Then I discovered that you had ZERO access to anything unless you paid for the online time! *&%!!! I gave it away... My wife likes to remind me about wasted purchases with that one.

I never played CoH.
I was a CoH playtester for Eden Studios, though.
Not the worst thing that it didn't get released.
I looooove the X-Men Legends/Ultimate Alliance series of games.

I hate eden studios, that company promises the world and never brings out anything worth waiting on. I have been waiting for a copy of Conspiracy X's Alien source book (dead tree mind you) but can't seem to find a copy anywhere, still says its TBA, retards.

I play CoH, have a couple characters on the Virtue server. I actually think Champs Online is a much better game, but there is a severe lack of content, so I quit playing it.

I have Lady America on Virtue, amongst others. Thinking of rejoining this week maybe.

Chello!
I've been playing about 3 years. Most of toons are on Pinn and Virtue. I have an "evil" Justice League on Justice, and a couple of others scattered around.
Getting hyped about "Going Rogue" coming out.
