So speak up - any and all supers campaign ideas. Short blurb pitches to get an idea of the campaign.

I'd love to see multiple ideas for supers campaign. It might spur something new for me and my group. I'll toss out several ideas I've had in the past, maybe you can get ideas from mine!

1. VICTORIAN SUPERS:
In the past I've ran an "Avengers Victorian" game where everyone plays any of Marvel Comic's past Avenger heroes. It worked well. I'd love to restart that idea. I'd also be interested in doing a DC Victorian Justice League game. Using "known" heroes translated to that time period is very fun. Re-imagine the original character's story and powers to your liking, sticking with the "idea" of the character.

2. NECESSARY EVIL:
This idea uses M&M's Freedom City setting combined with Savage World's NE campaign, where aliens have come and taken over the world! Killing or capturing all heroes. You take the role of villains willing to fight the aliens, setting aside their quarrels with one another to team up - whether it be to help the world get back to status-quo, to become heroes themselves or to retake the world for themselves! Most PCs would play 2nd-3rd tier villains like Spiderman's rogues gallery (Sandman, Doc Ock, Mysterio, etc...)

3. FAMILY LAW:
Martial Law (the world's Superman equivalent) is gone, killed by villains! You are part of the "next generation" of heroes that need to step up and into his mantle as the world's protector. You're part of ML's "family" in that you can be a son/daughter or some relation to the great hero. Part Superman, part Fantastic Four - all hero!

4. FREEDOM STREETS:
Set in M&M's Freedom City - You're "street level" heroes - similar to Daredevil, Batman, Spiderman, Cloak&Dagger, IronFist, Nightwing, etc... at the begining of their careers. You're powers are somewhat limited, you likely won't be invited to join the Freedom League due to your power level or your vigilantee status - but you protect the streets of your home: the Fens, Freedom City. (a *'s Kitchen, NYC or Gotham equivalent)

5. X-MEN YEAR ONE:
What if Charles Xavier (and the Marvel Universe) were restarting today? What if Xavier picked a different set of mutants to be his "first class"? Who would they be? You can pick from any Marvel Universe Mutants in the "X-men Universe" of heroes or Villains... and head Xavier's mental call - "To me my X-men!". Re-imagine the X-man's story and powers to your liking, sticking with the "idea" of the character.

6. NOCTURNALS - NIGHT SHIFT:
Based in the world/style of Nocturnals: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocturnals - this is a Halloween meets Heroes style setting where all the heroes are a group of social outcasts that are forced to shun the light of day as well as mainstream society. The world cannot "see" the strange things that happen but someone's got to stop the evil... You are a new member of a team of "cops" assembled in Rust City's downtown precinct to face the night full of weird Halloween/Hellboy style creeps and villains.

7. FREEDOM ZOMBIES:
Set in M&M's Freedom City - The world has been taken by a zombie-like virus... normals, super-villains, super-heroes... ALL of them have been infected. You are one of the remaining heroes (or villains?!) that need to band together to fight to retake the world or find another!

8. MARVEL VILLAINS:
In another dimension, another universe Marvel Super Heroes that we all love are different... they're VILLAINS! You take up the role of the reverse counterpart of any Marvel Comics' Super Villain to fight them because in THIS world the villains have always been the heroes! This is a similar idea to DC Universe's "JLA: Earth 2" but with Marvel characters.

9. VILLAINS & VIGILANTES:
Using the old V&V modules as the setting for this game, you take on the roles of V&V style supers in a slam-bang world of heroics similar to the Justice League or Avengers in 4-color supers fun, but with a bit of an edge (heroes/villains can die more readily). Form up in your super team and protect the city and the world!

10. COSMICS! - Freedom 2525:
Set in M&M's Freedom City - Part Freedom City, part Legion of Superheroes, part Silver Surfer, part Green Lantern Corps - all Cosmic Powered! You take the role of protectors of the Earth Sector in the year 2525... Facing cosmic level world threats and bank robbers as needed!

11. FREEDOM LEGION:
Set in M&M's Freedom City - you are the newest recruits to form the fabled Freedom League (JLA/Avengers) and there's lots of work to be done protecting the city and the world! From the new Freedom Station - you'll play a "character tree" of 4 heroes, each adventure one player will be chosen to assemble/lead the team and get to pick from the "roster" of your heroes to fight the newest threats across the world!

12. BEYOND FREEDOM:
Set in M&M's Freedom City's future - In the near future 2050 - Freedom City is the hub of commerce and the heroes of the past have been retired by the government. But villain is still out there - you form a team of heroes to return them to heroic stature and face the villains! Based on the Batman Beyond cartoon series, set in a "Minority Report" style Freedom City.

13. ABBERANTS:
Set in White Wolf's Abberant setting - You've found that you have powers, something's happened and across the world a select few people are arising with powers! Many are using their powers irresponsibly - many for endorsement deals or personal gain alone, some rising to steal and hurt people. You've got another idea, form a team of like-minded super-powered people and show them that with Power Comes Responsibility - you're the world's first Super HEROES!

14. THE INCREDIBLE YEARS
Based following the events of the Incredible movie. You will be the beginning of a new super team forming to bring the glorious heroics back to the world. Using all the ideas, characters and events of the Incredible's setting. The team will be based in the Incredible's version of the country's Capitol - DC.

15. SUPER IDOL
The idea expands on the idea of a new super hero team formed on camera, around a tv reality show. A four colored bit of heroics with the reality of life in secret identities, including "confessionals" about your teammates!

16. 1602 DC
Similar to Marvel's interesting historical revision. Where the players will take the rolls of your favorite member of the Teen Titans. Re-imagining them to be alive during the age of 1602AD. Plots involving the Queen, Countries and the "big boys" as they've evolved in the 1602 world. A four-color set in the grim world of the Elizabetian times.

17. BATTLE HYMM
Based off a new small press comic from Image. Players will take the roles of a new super team forming in the beginning of WWII, taking on missions overseas but focusing on Homeland security. Less than four color, but still with cinematic action - combining the COOL of Band of Brothers, The Justice Society of America and retro-Hellboy-BPRD.

18. NOVAS
Using the ideas behind the Aberrant RPG setting as world history. The team is gathered together by a research facility in California. The group will seek out other novas aiding their passage into the world of power. A grittier real life take on what it's like to have powers.

19. AMERICAN GODS
Based off the mini-series "the 4400" and the comic Supreme Power, you wake up to find you have powers and are one of only 283 other individials with abilities far beyond reality. A very realistic look at what you'd do with powers in a world that wants to exploit you. Sharing an origin from an event that shook the world: 9-11.

20. WATCHMEN 21st CENTURY
What happened in the Watchmen world 20 years following the horrific events in NYC? Based heavily updating the Watchmen's world dealing with political, ethical, and personal events similar to the Watchmen epic set in today's world. A realitistic gritty world of super heroes, with most heroes based off skill training and gadget powers.

21. AVENGERS YEAR ONE
Reimagine the Avenger of your choice and play in unpaded versions of original Avenger stories. Four-color fun with a bit of the Ultimate style.

I may check-in with adding more later...
Thoughts on any of mine?

NOW ... add your OWN!! Completely original, based on a comic series, or based on another RPG setting/theme!

I'll submit the premise for a very successful campaign I was in:

Shadows of the City
You are the thin blue line against chaos. In a bright city of the near-future, you are police officers equipped with paranormal abilities fighting a secret war against reality-bending extra-dimensional Entities intent on invading our world. Cthulhu meets anime cyberpunk. I believe the campaign web page is still up for anyone interested in reading about it.

After Onslaught:

After the Avengers, FF, etc perished fighting Onslaught, the world was in need of new heroes to fill the void their loss left in the world. The players get to try and be those heroes.

(this was a short lived game I ran using Marvel SAGA)

The new Squadron Supreme

(set after the SS Graphic Novel "Death of a Universe")

The Squadron Supreme are gone, supposedly dying to save our world, our Universe, from the threat of the Nth Man. With their Utopia Project in ruins, the world is left to pick up the pieces. There are still some villains running around, and new ones are appearing (some using technology once used by the Squadron). New heroes are appearing as well. Can these new heroes replace the Squadron, and help the world recover from these recent world shattering events?
