Team name for Golden Age supers

So I'm putting together a team of Golden Age supers for a one shot (some of the art I commissioned is posted over in the Sketch pad forum), and I'm trying to decide on a team name.
The current name I have is the "Freedom Society of America", which is a cross between the JSA and M&M's Freedom League. However, I'm not quite sure that fits. So, I figured I'd make a poll, and see if any of my other ideas appeal more. So my fellow BASHers, what do you think I should call my team?

I voted for the Freedom Society of America, but that's only because it was the name of our first superhero team back when we started playing Champions in the 1980s. Actually, the character Arachnid, who I posted over in the builds forum, was leader of the FSA (until we changed the name to the Justice Crusaders because we realized that the FSA was more of a Golden Age name).
You have Defenders of Justice on there too. That's close to our Champions of Justice - a Golden Age group that I GMed for years very successfully. Ah the memories!
Best,

I went with Freedom Society of America, but I also really like Liberty Brigade; it was basically a tie between them.

I imagined those teams and what they would do and the Justice Brigade stood out as the best Golden Age name. It would be out of place in any other era, where as most of the other names could just as easily be Silver Age supers.

It was tough but "Society" IMHO says "Golden Age" to me.

So far, Freedom Society has the lead with 4 votes, Liberty Brigade is second with 3, and Guardians of Justice is third with 2 votes. I'll leave it till monday before making a final decision.

Yep, Liberty Brigade. Has that hold over from WWII feel to it.

Liberty Brigade is in the lead, Freedom Society is 2nd, and Guardians of Justice is 3rd. The other 2 have 0 votes. Think I'll let this run a little longer, then make my final decision

I wish there were combinations. The Guardians of Liberty sounds just right to me.

The only thing I would caution about using the Liberty Brigade is that its name inherently implies military, where as the Freedom Society has a bit more wiggle room

That's the thing though, the war was ubiquitous in the golden age.

Yes but what is the most famous group from that period? the Justice Society of America, less so the Seven Soldiers of Victory or the All-Winners Squad.
Just sayin'

FYI: When America entered the war, the JSA renamed themselves "The Justice Battalion" in 1942

I am not trying to start a Golden Age fight
All I am saying is that they are far more remembered as the JSA than anything else.
