Is it just me or is it hard to post long messages in the Message box? I usually have to type it out in word and paste it in.

How long are we talking?

Anything longer than the visible message box goes haywire on my computer. As soon as the scroll bar appears on the right of the message box it begins jumping around from the top of the message to the place where I'm typing and back.
I use word and cut and paste a lot too here.

Do you mean the message box at the bottom of a thread? Have you tried using reply instead? Does that do the same thing?
Coyote you seeing this?

I have the same problem. If I'm using Internet Explorer (not my default), it's very difficult to type anything longer than the reply box is deep. I do not have that problem with Opera, the browser I usually use. This same problem (while using IE) exists in several forum boards I frequent.

Yes, I'm referring to the message box at the bottom of the screen (I'd assume that's what Jason's referring to as well).
I've also tried reply and came up with the same results. Like he said, cutting and pasting from a Word doc. works just fine, just a bit of a pain.
I'm curious if it's a browser issue. I'm using IE through Windows XP

Yep. The same happens to me. I thought it was just some bug on my system until now. Basically, any text below the view box disappears as the point of view jumps back up to the top area and I cannot see what I'm typing any more.
I've just resorted to typing into Wordpad and then cut+paste into the forum's reply box.

This exactly what I am talking about.

I can't say that I've seen the same issue with Chrome (my default browser).

I've never had that problem with Firefox. I'll try IE and see what happens...

Yep, it happens for me with Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Vista. But Firefox is fine.
