Minor difference between comic world and real world.

My theory is that in comic book worlds there are special classes for people of lower intelligence. Now I know that similar schools exist in the real world, but the difference is that in Comic Book Land, the school also serves to let the rest of the world know that they are dealing with someone of lower intellect by teaching them a special form of grammar.

"Teacher? I have to go to the bathroom!"
"Now, Timmy. How do you say it?"
"Oh. Um. Timmy want go bafroom!"
"Much better."
"I'm sorry."
" *ahem* "
"Oh. Timmy sorry."
"And in future, you will refer to me by an abbreviated nickname, like Teach, instead of Teacher."

Seriously. It's the only explanation. That's why the big dumb guys always talk like the Cookie Monster.
