Move over Alpha Flight, there's a new super team in Canada!

I've been kinda excited since hearing that DC Comics will be bringing a super team to Canada! Sure it sounds like most of the team will be non-Canadian but I'm looking forward to seeing how Jeff Lemire (a genuine Cannuck!) manages to pull this off.

eh, there have been other teams besides Alpha Flight. Moonstone has Northern Guard, which are all golden age canadian heroes, and there is Heroes of the North, a webseries/comic book. A canadian Justice League would be cool though.

Yes I think so too. It sounds like they (DC Comics) are going to play it safe and stock most of the team with established characters. I'm wondering if this will be temporary and, as sales build, they will eventually replace more of the team with Canadian members.

As for other Canadian terams, I believe Charlie McElvy's Watchguard universe has a team called the Superiors or something. I can't recall if he was going to launch them as a comic, or just as a gaming suppliment.
