For immediate release:

And now, without further ado, I present the BASH! Awesome Powers Power Suites Kickstarter Project. If you like it, share it, so we can make Awesome Powers even more Awesome!

Our funding goal is $300 to create four more volumes in PDF form. If we surpass that amount, more stretch goals will activate, allowing us to produce more and more volumes of Awesome Powers. If we raise enough funds, we will even be able to do a print run compilation.

At what level do you figure you need to hit before a print product can be attained? That's what my goal is for this (I might even pledge at the $50 or more levels for this)...

I see it was close to 600 by the time I was able to pledge. I hope it hits enough for a print version.

Hey BASHMAN,

I notice that the levels where a print copy is included have a pop-up that it will only ship to the US.

Is there a way to arrange shipping elsewhere [Canada, in my case]? Will it just cost a few bucks more? or is it right out?

I am eager to back AP, but I want to know that I can get it. Also, international backers might shy away when they see the pop-up, unless it is explained or something. Of course, it could be very clear and I am just being obtuse because I have never been involved in Kickstarter before.

I wanted that as a choice (US and Canada shipping) because BASH! has so many great Canadian fans! According to Kickstarter, my only choices were Ship US Only, or Ship everywhere in the world, even places where it would cost too much or where I couldn't guarantee the package would arrive. I am definitely willing to work with Canadian backers to ship them a book, but some additional shipping cost may need to apply (probably no more than $5).

Another poster elsewhere asked if I can arrange shipping to their country outside North America for higher ticket items. I definitely can arrange that; we just need to know what the shipping cost will be so people can pay the difference. At present, without knowing the exact final page count of the book, its weight, or what shipping rates will be when it is printed, it is not easy to estimate price to ship elsewhere; but it can be arranged. It will simply be a matter of addressing the increased cost.

Canada's strange and expensive postal system is well known. If I need to throw in an extra five, that is fine by me.

Yes. Me too (also a Canuck). I'll pay whatever the shipping comes to (slowest postal prefered - I'm patient).

[Edit] If it can't be set up through Kickstarter, I can certainly use PayPal to transfer my shipping costs.

Okay. I just made a $50 pledge and was politely reminded by KickStarter that product only ships in US, so I've got my fingers crossed for all of us non-Americans!

Yep - I'm in Canada as well and will happily pay the shipping. Needless to say, we need the stretch goals to be reached before this becomes an issue; here's to lots more people seeing the light and pledging to the cause
