And NO, the system does not necessarily NEED a "character builder" using OpenOffice (Excel) to manage your Stat/Power builds... BUT! I've had fun creating a fairly intricate, but overall complete Character Builder for the BASH! UE system. You'll still need the complete rules to understand what you're building & a small learning curve to discover where to input all your info and numbers, but overall the Builder holds all the info needed, follows the Steps of Chracter Creation in BASH! UE, and outputs a nice crisp Character Sheet. (which I am working to build a Sheet OPTION that resembles the core BASH! UE basic sheet from the game designer)
That said. I am NOT an Excel guru - And I decided to use OpenOffice to build the sheet, so that anyone can use the free program and have the sheet open and look correct.
But...
I'm very open to share and I'd love to here any constructive criticism on the program workings of the sheet, any mistakes from the BASH! rules within, and the overall usability and design look.
