Contest: Help me name my next Project

So as mentioned, I'm working on my next project for BASH. It will be part of the Adversaries line, featuring Golden Age villains in the public domain (and maybe a few heroes).

The tentative title is "Golden Age Adversaries: The Public Domain Files Vol. 1". Kind of long on the tongue. I don't want to call it just "Golden Age Adversaries", as I am acquiring art for a project with that name all ready.

So, if someone can come up with a cool name for this (which will hopefully be the first of 2 volumes), you will get credit for the name, and a comped pdf when it's out.

I'd do something a little-less blatant than "public domain." Even if you wanted to point out that they are public domain, just toss a text tag on the bottom or something. I'd use some other term, in the title, that still has the feel of the characters now being available to the public...

That said, maybe something like:
Golden Age Adversaries: DECLASSIFIED!
Volume One

Then a line of text on the bottom that says, like "15 super adversaries from the public domain" if you feel a need to point out the source on the cover.

Public Enemies

Kind of has that Public Enemy #1 thing going on, plus you get the whole 'now in the public domain' slid in there as a sly part of the name.

There's all ready an ICONS product with that name, so sadly, that one is out

You could use some sort of narrative framing device. Say that all the villains are being resurrected by some mysterious organization as part of Project Lazarus. Then you can call it The Lazarus Files which gives a sense of the included characters being 'revived'.

That's sounds like a cool idea. However, the concept isn't to have them appearing in the modern day. It's a book for use with Golden Age games, and any adventure seeds will reflect that. I guess I should have been clearer on that in my original post.

Bummer did not know there was a ICONS project named that.

Maybe some dated word combos?

Dastardly Baddies
Wicked Villains
Super Scoundrels

With subtext that says "for your Golden Age games" or "of yesteryear"

2c

EDIT: lol, or Uber, uber is a cool word that might fit the time frame with the * ubermensch.

UberVillains or UberScoundrels, hehe.

Ahh, I see 8-O

Well, like texaspoet says, maybe something that sounds a little old-fashioned then...

Rascals & Racketeers
Mobsters & Miscreants

Or something like that :)

How about "Yesterday's Evil"

"Golden Age Vile"

"Echoes of evil: golden age"

Four colors of Villainy

"Dastardly :Golden age"

"Public Enemies:declassified

I'm wondering if keeping it part of the Adversaries line might be mucking up ideas. Would it be better if it didn't use Adversaries (or Golden Age Adversaries)?

Also, if it might help: It looks like there will be 12 villains in total, 4 of whom are * villains.

To give people more time to come up with suggestions, I'll wait until Monday to make a final decision. In the interim, a little update:

I've finished the stats for all 12 villains, 2 NPC heroes, a vehicle and an HQ. Now I just need to do various minions for certain villains, then I can see about starting to write the actual text of the release.
