How long is the pre-order going to last? I don't really have the money right now.

Until they're sold out or the book is printed, whichever comes first. But don't worry, you've got time still.

Okay so here is a character sheet:

And here are some pre-gen characters. Enough to start your own band of swashbuckling goodness.

And now for some Characters. These will likely be included as pre-gens in an adventure at some point (maybe I'll re-tool them to add the visual Advantage Track). Currently, I don't think I'll have room for FULL page character sheets in the book- so the sample characters (there are dozens) will probably be 3 or so per page with 1-2 of them illustrated per page.

This game looks great! The system seems to be very simple. I'm going to have to put this on my X-Mass list.

[Oh Hunny...]

Wow, that's almost double BASH:UE! How much of that is devoted to cultural and general knowledge information on the period? Beyond the vague info gleened from various Musketteer and other movies, I'm not overly well informed about that age.

There is some very brief general history, then another bit of history on a nation-by-nation basis in the gazetteer section. However, it mentions that if you want a lot of detailed historical information, you should consult a textbook, encyclopedia, etc.

While the game is historical fiction, the emphasis is on the fiction part. History is meant to be used as inspiration, but should not be a "meta-plot" that constricts the GM like a straight-jacket.

This already has its own thread, but I'll repost here anyway:

I get interviewed on the Game's the Thing Podcastabout Honor + Intrigue, and also talk a bit about what's coming for BASH!

Would like to upgrade from pdf to full print + pdf bundle.

Hello Basic Action Games,

I pre-ordered the pdf back on the 14th, but the more I've seen the more I wish I'd ordered the full print+pdf bundle. Is it possible to upgrade to the full print-pdf bundle? If it is possible, please let me know what I need to do or what information you would need (I can give you the paypal transaction number if that helps). Thanks in advance.

Regards,
rudedd
