Hello, folks! Looks like you have a pretty intimate community here. I hope I can fit in. :)

I've been a pen-and-paper gamer since the 70's, and a supers fan since then as well. Let's just say the first poem I ever memorized was the Green Lantern oath. :)

The second one was the Dwarf song about Smaug from the Hobbit, but that's a different tale...

I'm very new to BASH. As a matter of fact, I just picked it up earlier today for the first time. I'd heard about it once or twice, but it wasn't until I was disappointed with a different game that I came looking here... BASH looks like a great 'Lite' game system for supers, something I could use for quick pick-up games and then convert easily to a more 'crunchy' campaign if things go well. That's my style, and I hope I'm not insulting anyone by saying that... Anyway. Just thought I'd pop in and say 'hello'... and I'm looking forward to seeing new and interesting things from BASH. :)

I don’t think anyone here will take offense to that. BASH is one of those games that can be really Lite or, if you want, Crunchy. I find it to be nearly as capable as Mutants and Masterminds for character creation options (it merely takes a few character builds to start seeing the deeper potential).

Cool. I was just futzing about with BASH earlier, converting characters from my M&M game to see how much converted without changing the concept too much. The one character I got stuck on was a Teleporter named Cheshire, because she was pretty feat-driven. I'm sure once I get to know BASH better, I'll be able to handle characters like that.

If you feel like it, post her in the Builds forum and maybe we can help convert her.

Cool! Sounds like fun. I've gone ahead and created a thread for my builds with her in the lead. :)

If I wind up running BASH this weekend, I'll try and get my friends to type up their characters and post them in the same thread... so I won't have to do the work.

Whoops, didn't see this before. Well, I'm new here too.

I'm definitely going to start into BASH by converting my fave pc Superhero, Ocelot. He has an acrobatic trickster type character w/ cat powers and some luck. He has a few tech-devices also (a glove with claws that fire the claws too and reload, and a swing line knick-named "the fe-line"). Once I build him I can share him.

Btw, there's a pic of him under the art category.

I'll be sure to check out the character pic Samuraidad. The concept of Ocelot sounds real cool. Welcome to the forums!

Hey everybody! I just noticed there was an introduction thread, so, I might as well say hi to everyone.

First off, please don't crucify me for this, but, I don't actually play BASH! I just illustrate Radioactive Ape's supplemental books for the system. I started an account so I could take a peek at what you BASH! fans are into, and get to know the people that are going to be looking at my book art a bit better.

I am a huge gamer, though, I mainly play D&D 3.5, but, I've started (begrudgingly) playing 4E. I like to over-design the * out of my RPG characters. That's probably the funnest part of RPGs for me (I know, I'm an art nerd.) Here's my most recent D&D character, and a totally unnecessary phoneme library.

I also love the games Zombies!!! MonPoc, and Munchkin.

Thank you for all the kind words on my art posting, and, if you guys need any artwork, let me know. It's great meeting you all!

That is possibly the most interesting part to me. We're all nerds in our own way I guess.

I may have to give it a shot, though, at the moment I am kinda enjoying 4E, we just finished a year long 3.5 campaign, so, playing with a different rules system is refreshing.

I don't really want to talk about another game system here but the Pathfinder PDF is only about $10 it's worth a read even if you never play it.

Hi there. I might as well introduce myself. I'm the illustrator for AslanC's supplement Supervillains and also a player in his BASH! campaign.

I've only heroes I've put my stamp on, a speeder named Trax and a size changer named Monolith.

Yo Dudes!

I'm new here - and new to BASH!

I'm a long time TTRPG player (since 1980) and one of my favourite genres is Superheroes. I have quite a large collection of SHRPG's - but none of them is quite perfect. So far I like what I've seen of BASH!

It looks like it will cope with high-power supers without breaking. I'm looking forward to running a game or two.
