[Nocturnals] a Lovecraftian/Tim Burton campaign using BASH!

Post by kevperrine »

Hey...

I'm planning a campaign with local friends and I'd like advice. Any suggestions on alternate or additional rules for doing a game based in the Nocturnals setting?
It's a setting with medium powered supers with backgrounds and oddities with a Lovecraftian and Tim Burton flavor.

Any thoughts or suggestions??
thanks

Do you own the M&M sourcebook about the series?

Just curious. :)

Yep!
My question was really regarding any *need* for changes/additions of rules for BASH! that might help with the more noir-ish/creepy style.

Cool Idea!

I would consider fewer Hit Points for PCs or Wound Thresholds [I thin BASH Fantasy has them, or maybe LoS] to make the fights more gritty. Perhaps even a fear factor system.

Hmmmm..... that's curious now that you mention it.
I wonder.
Maybe BASHMAN or someone with lots of BASH!-in-game-play experience could answer this query.

What "power levels" of multiplier on the damage chart would be appropriate for various lowered HITS totals?

I wonder what the average is for a one-shot take-down for a certain level of HITS? This might be "measured" with examples of different "Minions" HIT levels in-game. But I haven't payed attention to this in play at all.
