My fault. I went on vacation and failed to get someone to serve as an Admin for me while I was gone. Anybody want to be given Spam Blasting Super Powers? Just let me know.

Is it possible to set up new members posts to be moderated until they're proven to not be spam bots? That would really cut down on them getting posts in

Moderated in what way? I was thinking of trying to set up a "minimum posts" before you can start your own thread or have a signature. Other ideas?

Moderated in that all posts have to be approved until you change the settings for their account on the forums. It's an option for yahoo groups, and I've used it to prevent spam being posted to ones I run.

It also helps that if someone's email gets hacked (which happens a lot to people's yahoo accounts), you can then set them to moderated until they fix the issue (which again, I've had to do)
