I did a few cardboard heroes for one of our superhero games a few years ago and I just came across them, so I thought I'd share. We printed these full color, laminated them, and cut them out to stick in plastic bases. (I don't have the terrywhisenant.com website anymore though, I'm texaspoet at gmail dot com)

Here's a non-cardboard hero illustration I did with my illo. partner, Mike Ceranko.

One of my first cardboard heroes for a sci-fi game, before I started drawing the backs too.

Thanks MrJupiter! Mike and I did quite a few superheroes together but they are for a BRP monogram that has yet to come out, so I don't feel comfortable posting them, we'll see. I have more scans somewhere on my computer of other things I did with Ceranko, which I will look for.
Here is a gladiator I did, pen and ink, painted in Photoshop.
