Here's a sketch from a new artist I'm working with, Richard Spake. This is for a character named Vigilante, a man with an experimental armor suit, an electrified tonfa, and a lot of attitude...

The concept for this hero is quite baddass. The stance and lines of the character are quite good. The electrified tonfa is a great idea and so is the experimental suit. Is VIGILANTE's costuming going to be one uniform colour or are there designs to it that are not yet integrated into the image?

He's not actually a hero, as he's going to be part of a villain book

The costume is going to have an urban camouflage scheme on it, as it was designed for military/police use.

Oh, I see. This guy is so baddass that he's more of a badguy-goodguy. Excellent! I'm looking forward to this book.

Yeah, he's one of those crossing the line types. I can't wait to see the finished piece, and the second one Richard is doing for me.

Also pitched a new one to Dan Houser last night. Came up with another Egyptian themed villain. Should be interesting to see what he comes up with

Another one from Richard. This is Blaster, who found an old ray gun and force field belt that belonged to a villain from the 40's. This * fellow styles himself a modern day gunfighter....

Now that's a cool idea: a blend of the old and new.

Thanks Mr. Jupiter. He's a really old concept I never did much with besides that basic background. Hope to flesh him out soon. Really digging Richard's work for me so far. Look forward to hiring him for more work soon

Doctor Anubis is the leader of a group of Egyptian themed villains. First up is Iron Mummy, whose wrappings are made of a flexible, liquid metal. They not only protect him, but he can launch them to entrap people, and also to cause damage to opponents:

That's a great idea. Foriegn supers are an important resource for narrators. I hope that you will be fronting them in an upcoming product! I'd certainly buy it.

They're not foreign; they just use ancient egypt as a motif for their villain identities

A couple of new sketches, this time courtesy of Brian Brinlee. Both are new versions of some old WW2 characters I created a long time ago

Both characters are part of a public team of German supers, used to promote that Germany isn't all that bad. Unlike other German supers, these characters are heroes, even though most don't realize there is more going on inside Germany than meets the eye.

First up is Iron Raven. A decorated Luftwaffe pilot, he is chosen to wear the Iron Raven armor, which enables him to fly, and has some nasty clawed gauntlets:

The second character is Hauptmann Zero, a tank Captain in the Wermacht, he is chosen to wear this armor, which allows him to project ice:
