I found * totally by accident. I was googling for a god of justice, found the Roman goddess, which led me to Themis, *'s mother. She represents Divine Justice though, while * is related to human justice. Having her evil rival helped too, as it gives The Badge a built in arch-enemy to introduce. Just haven't come up with a concept for said nemesis as of yet. Considering them using a weapon of some sort (since the Badge has a shield, which is protective, the enemy would use a weapon, being offensive, keeping the whole opposing ideals concept going)gryfn wrote:I hope you mean the goddess Nike .
no wait shes the Greek goddess of moral justice , well done
Kris is working out the rest of the team for me right now. He's been sending me concept sketches, as I wanted to have some action poses. He's come up with some good stuff so far, and I think the Guardians of Liberty will be an interesting team of heroes once he finishes them all for me.
Now all I need to do is stat out The Badge, and post him in the builds section

I can't take credit for the costume. There was this old site called "Good Guys and Gals of the Golden Age", and they had original characters with art showcased in each issue. One had a guy named "The Patrolman". I liked the costume, but he had a nightstick and pistol. So I copied the costume, but added the Badge-shaped shield. The mythical origin came to me after Kris did the original art, and he added in the Scales of Justice to the costume/shield for me after.MrJupiter wrote:I love the look of The BADGE! Do let us see the stats, please.
Anyway, I'm doing an easier job at work tonight, so I have even more free time than normal. So I'll be working on his stats tonight

Thanks Samuraidad!Samuraidad wrote:The Badge is too sweet, urbwar!
Got another member of the Guardians of Liberty to share. Would have had 2, but Kris had to edit the other one, as he left something out of the pose!
Until then, here is the GoL's malleable man of mystery....
Mr. Flexible!
This one was based off the character I played in a one shot a few months back. As you can tell by his shapeshifted arms, he loves his baseball!

Ok, so my original post disappeared! Let's try this again!
Jesse Dumont is the second man to bear the mantle of Sky Marshal. The first, his older cousin Henry, was killed in battle against Simius and his Super Apes when they tried to kidnap the president of the United States.
As the Sky Marshal is part of the Aerial Enforcement Wing of the US Marshals service, they needed another man to take up the mantle. In honor of Henry's sacrifice, they chose Jesse, who was also a member of the AEW. He was given a newer, sleeker rocket pack, and he armed himself with a ray gun taken from a Venusian invader.
Wherever criminals threaten the airways, Sky Marshal is there to oppose them!
Stats to come, and hopefully Sky Marshal's rocket ship, the Wyatt Earp!

Thanks Volsung. I think to date, this is the best one Kris has done for me (other than The Badge, who totally rocks). I've seen sketches of the rocket ship (which is modeled off the one from the old movie serial "Zombies of the Stratosphere" with some modifications), and I can't wait until he gets that one finished. I've got 2 other team members in the pipeline, with a 3rd we're still hashing out. So far, this is shaping up to be a pretty decent team of heroes!
