My scenario is in print - its an adventure in Random Encounters, for No Dice - the rpg company I have been involved with. You can download the adventure here for free:
http://www.nodicerpg.com/
its under Empires Finest, with the downloads.
With a little reworking its become the prequel of the modern day supers game i would like to run (using bash/no dice hybrid). I have assumed that during vistorian times, low powered supers existed (the equivelent of the pulp masked men in america) - my adventure kind of accelerated this process. The stuff of verne and wells did happen, but have been covered up (by my clandestine department 13) so as not to alarm the population. In the advent of proper superheroes in ww2, then the veil has slipped away to a certain extent, although the public still remain ignorant of dimensional invaders, aliens and elder gods. These elements will still exist in my modern setting for Britain, to a lesser extent and in a more comic book way, but this time, the heroes have the chance to kick cthulhus wattery butt, so to speak.

Thanks. Well I think its activity books and then on to story books once i am up to speed. Then on to other marvel properties, but I will have to keep them under wraps. This is a big change for me, since I am going back to full time freelance - scary but probably the best job in the world. I was painting bouncy castles all day,and slowly going crazy.... Thought it was time to get back into disney (i used to do winnie the pooh etc), since they own marvel now. Funnily enough, i never had the urge to knock on disneys door again when all they had was Hana Montana, and High School Mucical, the comic. Shudder!Lindharin wrote:Congratulations! And a great picture!
So, can you say what exactly you'll be working on?

Cheers. Levercastle is a whimsical, fantasy setting, set in a fictional Devonshire seaside town that is a crossroads into the faerie realms. You can play anything from a regular human to an inhabitant of faerie such as a sprite, troll or even a talking animal. The magic system is also pretty cool as it is experiential. Whether your a druid, witch, bard, sorcerer, alchemist or wish fairy, you as the player, has to learn how to do stuff, through trial and error. There are no handy magic spell lists. You have to put in the hard work, for essentially bending the universe to your will.
The game is not about defeating creatures and gaining vast wealth. It is about growing to love your character, and for that reason it is intended to be child-friendly. I guess adventurers, which are largely player driven, contain mild peril, but really Levercastle is a gentle affair. Although if you say the wrong thing to a powerful wizard, you may get turned into a frog for a while.....
Anyway, it should be out later this year
