Basic Action Super Heroes!

Are you thinking about running a DP7 game, Deacon? It's been a long time since I've read those, and I'm not sure if I still have any to refresh my memory. Fortunately, there's always wikipedia...

I'm playing a character in another game site heavily inspired by Justice from the New Universe books.

Unfortunately, I'm in the same state as Volsung. Real Life(tm) is using up too much of my resource time to join any more games.

I can play if there's a game. I too haven't seen DP7 in awhile but can review on wikipedia

Sounds like an interesting setting (had to Wiki it). I'm interested but I'd like to hear a bit more about when and where the characters will begin and what your expectations are...

I didn't know DP7 and a comic-fan friend enlighted me.
He also admitted it was a great setting for an rpg.
With the new centurions and a brawl on Bash and another brawl that I try to settle with Supers! I guess that game would be too much.
But i'm intrigued.

OK DP7 interests. I've two suggested player characters that developed their powers after the White Event (WE). We can give them a pre-WE backgrounds closer to a game.

Hey Protheuz, welcome.

In these days DP7 never reached France , however it didn't go unnoticed. I've been able to find countless information about the saga, even in my own language..
My actual super brawl is finished, and the 'Supers!' community seems not very interested in Play by post.
Dp7 seems even more appealing.

How many players do you seek? What would be the post rate.(I'm not sure about that expression).
Which 'type' of players/Characters do you want?

I'm really interested in Play-by-Post, however I'm unfamiliar with DP7, the White Event, and Marvel in general. From what I gather this is in a separate reality from the general Marvel universe?

If you don't mind me learning as I go, I'd love to play. How many points? Are we free to go with whatever powers we like?

Boost: DP7 happens in another universe. Here the Mutants don't exist, and an happening "the white event" made ordinary people develop paranormal powers (In this Universe paranormal means any power different from the human norm).

So you have teens and old people developing the powers at the same time. In the series the characters started without control over their powers (more or less) and went to a clinic to be treated - they wanted to brainwash then and use then as operatives.

From what I recall from the series, it had an different focus than others of the time - it was more adult/real - one of the characters wanted to see her children, and had an husband. The speedy character grasping a gun from the cops hands removed some of their fingers due to speed, etc.

Thinking of a character inspired by Deadman, would that fit?

I believe yes - if the powers were "innate" and not because of wearing the white lantern ring (I'm not very familiar with the deadman character) - but in the end, it's the narrator decision.
