Cool, I like how it worked out that LP just had sharp ears / Blockade was a blabbermouth. And then some great roleplaying after that -- good stuff, team!

I'm going to hold off on having the General, Captain or Winters weigh in until we've heard from at least Major Meteor -- I know urbwar's had a hellish schedule lately, so let's give him some time to respond.

In other news, Sky Marshall recognizes the aircraft as an experimental German design, likely a Horten design, though it's tough to tell from the grainy image. Prop-powered (it appears to have four rear-mounted push-props), it looks smaller than the mammoth, six-engined, long-range Horten VIII that SM has read and heard about in hard-core aviation circles. The range on the bigger plane was reported to be in excess of 3,500 miles. Based on the airframe and engines, the rocket-happy hero suspects it might be able to carry a payload of up to up to about ten tons.

In your world are the use of unconventional al troops common, you have hinted we have some in the field, do the Germans?

If so have any of the German team appeared before in the field or is this a new event for them?

Hey guys,

As I was telling Harrigan via PM, I got sick after working literally most of the weekend due to the big Hurricane. I'm trying to play catch up, but I'm feeling a little lost. Hopefully, the long speech I'm having Meteor give will try and get the characters to all stop bickering, and at least try and get along for the time being.

I gotta revise my character sheet to reflect my change in weakness. Did I get the green light on changing it to electromagnetic energy Harrigan? If so, I shudder for when he's caught near an EMP, cause it's going to mess him up good, lol

Hope you feel better and a good intro urb, I was kinda waiting for someone (MM or the General) to step before it turned into a brawl.

Are there photos of the * villains described in the dossiers? Or is it just written info?

Do we need to make a roll to learn anything more about them? Or is it covered with the initial roll?

Couple of answers I owe here:
-In your world are the use of unconventional al troops common, you have hinted we have some in the field, do the Germans?
Not common, no, but not unknown. Each side has a handful (less than 10), though from what you're seeing in the pics, the Germans suddenly have quite a few more.
If so have any of the German team appeared before in the field or is this a new event for them?
You don't really have a good line on any of the ones participating in the attacks on US soil. Beyond what's already been described, you don't know much -- these appear to new players.
Are there photos of the * villains described in the dossiers? Or is it just written info?

There's the odd glimpse / not-so-great photo as well, Nothing too illuminating.
Do we need to make a roll to learn anything more about them? Or is it covered with the initial roll?
There's not much more to know. I suppose I'd allow Occult, Military or Investigation rolls (choose one) to see if one of you somehow stumbled across reference to one of these guys previously... but you'd have to hit a 40 to know anything. Fair? :)

That should wrap the current scene, btw. We'll pick up boarding the plane a little later on today or tomorrow, depending on my workload this afternoon. :)

If people want to keep posting in the current scene, that's fine, but I will be moving us forward.

Heh. No Headless Hessians -- yet. :)

(And nice try, BD, but as they say: no dice.)

And wow, you guys all bustled yourselves onto the plane right quick. I was planning this long, drawn-out boarding action... but I can see where you want to get to. Will try to oblige. ;)

This was quoted in Couchemar's post, but I didn't see it anywhere. Is it from a PM?
CPL Oklahombi loaded up the truck as instructed and sat in the drivers seat. When CPT Kearney had arrived he had been joined by a young second lieutenant radio operator. The three of them loaded into the truck which rattled to life and they set off to the British encampment to the north

That's our shellshocked main man (Cauchemar) reminiscing about earlier times. BD isn't referencing anything I wrote, just crafting some text to give us all a little insight into his character -- which I heartily encourage! One-line responses get the job done, but it's much more gratifying for everyone if we all dig a little and unearth some roleplaying gold...

I hope you don't mind, I'm just making up the past as I go. I'm using the Quote function to set it apart from the stuff that's happening now. I can use a different method if folks would prefer.
