"There's a new gang in town trying to muscle in on the local business, and I got the news they'd kidnapped some dudes off the street to make their mark. So we went in to get them out."

"I wonder if that has anything to do with Johnathon Smalls?" asks the Doorman as he distractedly starts typing on a netbook computer. "Nyx, you get those photos yet?"

"You've heard of him?"

"Yah, small time hood out of Las Vegas that got all Novaed up; I remember a story a few days ago about some gang moving into HC from out of town. I was wondering if that's him."

"Dude, seriously, how hard is it to take a few pictures?" He fires at Nyx.

Nyx grabs the camera, and lazily snaps off one photo after the other. After he's done he moves to put the camera back on the table, holding it about six inches above the surface and letting it drop, "All done."

Nycto for a moment changes back to his normal self, so that in the picture he won't be a shadow, thinking
Hope that I don't regret this...

Quietly he listens for The Doormans answer, about the Nova Johnny Smalls.

On his turn, Overdrive keeps his battleform during during the snapshot. As a nova that form would be his public face.

Javier stifles the impulse to give the camera the finger as it's pointed towards him. He settles for giving it the sullen glare reserved for DMV IDs and police line-ups.

The Doorman snickers at Javi's characterization of Johny Smalls as he continues to click away at his computer. "He's a Type I, mind guy, influences people, that sort of thing. Says here," he uses his finger to scan something on his comptuer, "he's holed up in Las Vegas. Minor criminal record, hustling, extortion, that sort of thing. Since the event, people have claimed they've been pursuaded by him to do things they otherwise wouldn't, but for the most part he's staying on the down low.

He turns his attention to Nyx when he drops the camera to the table. "Dude, Al, I've got to return that camera in one piece! You don't make enough in a year to cover the cost you *."

He watches in startled amazement as the shadows slip from Nycto. "I figured they were permanent. Wow, now that's cool. What about you Fen', can you unwolf when you want?"

Nyx can't help but snicker, but cringes when the 'Doorman' uses the name Al again, "Oh geez, I'm all thumbs today Mike."

"Jeezus, "Javier mutters. "It's like we got Laurel and Hardy here."

Out loud, he addresses the hologram, "Look, dude, frankly I don't give a s**t what your * name is, OK? So Smalls is a Nova, huh? Do the NHSC yahoos know this?"

He continues, half to himself, "Do we have a confirmed location on him? If he is still in Vegas, that would explain the video feed."

Fenris replies to the Doorman, "Smalls was on a television video feed at the warehouse watching us when we cleared the room and then ordering Tony to attack us, so we don't know where he really is. I believe the AV equipment became collateral damage."
