Fenris pads over to Nycto and whispers, "I've three ideas: we can go through the Admin door over there. We can go through these air conditioning ducts after I remove a unit. Or I could punch a hole in one of the windows and pull the covering through the hole; then you teleport us inside."

He pauses and continues, "I'm concerned about Javier in an enclosed space with lots of lives at risk. I think his only real defense if it gets rough is to torch the whole place. I think we're going in blind. Either Overdrive or I should stay back just in case, so we can create another opening or reinforce if necessary. You and Nyx should be fine inside. What do you think?"

From the hill, Overdrive watches eagerly at the hospital.
He thinks.

He turns to Javi and Nyx.

"What if we played it FBI style?. We could simply knock at the front door ,wave our badges and asks some informations?"

Javier rubs his chin in thought. "Well, Marshall did call for our help. Just in case, though, I'd say only one or two of us try it. Y'know, in case it is a trap and all that."

He glances at the other two and grins, "So you two will be all right while I go talk to the nice police officers?"

Nycto compresses against the ground, as a piece of water and approaches the torches, trying to see their origin and what are they made of, as he goes ther he come with an idea, he picks the phone and tries to call Marshall.

If Marshall answers he asks "what is the situation?" or something along those lines,

The torches appear to be crudely constructed of table legs, wrapped in cloth, and lit on fire. The only odd thing about them (ok, other than there's torches burning on the roof of an insane asylum) is that the torches have been shoved INTO the concrete block that makes up the wall. The block is not shattered, just seperated enough for the torch handle to fit....

Captain Marshall answers the phone on the first ring. "You fellas on your way? I've got one helluva situation here Shadowman."

Ignoring the misnomer, you ask "What's the situation captain?"

"As far as I can tell, one of the crazies here has been in a coma for the past few months and decided to wake up today." You silently bristle at his description.

"Lucky for us it appears he's a nova too. I wonder if they're hiring in Las Vegas; it's getting too busy around here," he continues dryly.

"So what's the patient up to?"

"I wouldn't know where to start, I think you need to see it for yourself. He's taken over a ward and has really riled up the other loons. He has at least two officers and a half-dozen staff held hostage, at least I'm hoping they're still alive.

"You think you guys can get down here quickly? The governor is wanting to send in these NHSC idiots but I don't think filling the ward with lead is going to get my men out alive Nycto. I..." he pauses a moment. "I need your team's help on this one. You guys are the best game in town."

You can tell it pains him to say that.

"We'll be there in a moment." answers Nycto. Then he slides back to Fenris and tells him the news "I say we should return to the others and go check on Marshal. What do you think?"

Nycto walks the shadows again, taking Fenris with him.

They emerge next to their three companions.

"The roof is clear. It can be a way in. I called Marshall and appears to be a wakened pacient that is a powerfull Nova, and has taken that whole wing... "

A note from your kind-hearted narrator: I'd prefer to keep the group together and everyone in the action. I understand and agree with the logic of Fenris's suggestion, but I'm not going to spring the door shut on a trap here.

If someone still wants to wait outside as backup, that's fine, but you might get bored and miss one of the final scenes of our game.

When everyone's ready Nycto will transport then next to Marshall.
