He adds, trying to sound breezy .
"5 am for a summit meeting...Sleeping is for losers"
He yawns wildy.
"Yeah, definitely...Let's meet that Doorman"

If we split up, He'll send a quick message to Susan (Yup he also got a Susan) to keep her at rest and he'll go to the meeting by his own means (Bus+super jump?)

Ok, just so I have things straight:
Nycto is 'porting
Fenris is running
Javi's driving
Overdrive's going on foot (public trans doesn't get to where you're going).

Is anyone doing anything in particular when they arrive at the site? Or just stroll on in?

Nycto will try to hide and scout. If secure He'll summon two swordsman that remain out of sight (just in case).

Javier, figuring he'd do it anyways, will ask Nycto to check the place out and call them with a sit-rep.

If Nyc calls the all-clear, Javi parks the car a block or so away and walks to the site, keeping an eye out.

[And if Harrison needs a ride, Javi's glad to provide it. That might even spark a little more conversation, but I don't want to slow the action down.]

Fenris can't be in a car that long with those two for that long, so he runs over to the meet staying in shadows and seeing if there is anything worth noticing in town at this time of day. He Moves Silently and Hides when he arrives... perceptions along the way.

Fenris: You pass through the quiet city streets, slipping from shadow to shadow unnoticed. Other than the strange buzzing noise coming from high above the city, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. You figure there must be at least two more of the...whatever they are...in the night sky.

Once you leave the city and head into the night cloaked mountains, you leave the whirring noises behind.

Javier had been quiet on the drive over, intent on the view outside the windshield.

He responds to Harrison's conversational sally with a grunt. After a few seconds, he sighs and says in a rush, "Look, I'm not saying I haven't done my share of stupid and illegal things, but I'm not in this to do any more, OK?"

He lifts up his hand to forestall an answer. "Let me finish. At the same time, we're not sanctioned. We don't have any official backing, and we got a snowball's chance in * of getting any. If we keep at this, I can pretty much gah-ron-tee we're gonna * off the Powers That Be, if they aren't already. I unnerstand if that bothers you, and if you want to bail like Jason, I won't hold it against you."

Javier turns to face Harrison directly. "The thing is, I've seen bad things happen to people that the cops or City Hall can't or won't do anything about. I've seen bad guys, I mean evil sumbitches, walk out of courtrooms free and clear because the ones responsible for protecting us aren't doing their jobs right or just stopped giving a *.

"And all that time, all I could do was watch. Now I can do somethin' about it. I can help the helpless, protect the weak, fight for the right. I'm not plannin' to go gunnin' for a fight with the law, but I'm not going to stand aside anymore, even if that means they don't like what I'm doing."

He heaves another sigh and thankfully returns his gaze to the road. "I can't promise you we won't do anything illegal, but I can tell you I'll do what I can for it to be for the right reasons. And to be honest, I'd really appreciate your help in making sure of that. I think of all of us, you're the one closest to having his head on right." He grins crookedly at that.

I'd have no right to do this. I'm not a saint,and I had a turbulent youth.
I know that sometimes the end justify the means and that justice can be blind.
I hope to gain acceptance, but that won't be easy to get the law on our side...
Anyway, for what I know, what I witnessed, I think you're more righteous than many..."
He adds ,bursting out laughing.
"Sure you've got no manners and a big, dirty, mouth but you've got the qualities that really count..."

"Loyalty is one of these...which brings me to what I meant earlier...Your former gangmates may get into troubles with the police... Troubles without an altruist or just excuse...And because of your loyalty, you'd rather protect them against the law despite their wrongdoing...And that fact...would harm our team's bond...Because I, and maybe others, couldn't follow you on that path..."
He adds quickly
"But once again, do not be mistaken. I couldn't stand injustice...And i'll face the cops if they were misguided...Without hurting them...if possible"
