Speaking as one of her fellow heroes, can she re-roll it when she reposts it? ;)

Ah, who am I kidding, I know Shenna's ability to roll low, and the odds are the total would go down... There are still two numbers lower she could go. :)

She'll be home in a bit and I'll remind her to check the forum.

By the way, I think she had a question about whether the team work action would get a hero die or not. If so, she may want to use it for the attack.

"By your command." I have reposted my action in sequence. Sorry for getting over excited and posting too early. :)

And Lin, you're not supposed to tell them I can't roll. Maybe this time it will be different. Despite the wealth of previous experience, I live in hope that someday the dice will roll average for me. It can happen.

Cheers

Remember I rolled my damage before my holidays in case that Numinous' action had worked :)
Volsung wrote:But I can roll in advance so you guys can achieve the round :)
So, if I only handle the damage for a nice point blank blast while Numinous freeze Hammer Hurricane, that would mean dmg X8 (no point granted to Xtohit, range, or burst)
Here we go... wish me luck!
[bash="Eat this!"]8 = 768203928 = Fixed[/bash]
Except if we get that instant hero die

I just want to be sure before posting in the IC.

You do get a Hero Die, how do you intend to use it?

One hero die, by player? Or one for both?^^
Numinous needs to raise her chances to hit, and Detective Zero must raise his damages .

Since I'd like us to have a chance to actually hit, I'll take that die.

Where do you guys get the dicebot to use and cut-and-paste? How do you know someone doesn't use it many times and posts the result they like?

thanks in advance

Hi,

It's not an external roller, it is built into the forum posts itself. When you are writing a post, you can use either of the following (without the spaces):

[ dice ]1d6[ /dice] - this makes a normal dice roll
[ bash ]3[ /bash ] or [ bash ]3,2,5 [ /bash ] - this makes a Bash roll. The first number is the multiplier, and it is the only required number. If you add a second number it is the dice modifier. And if you add a third number it is the result modifier. For more details, you can see this thread.

As for picking the results, to some extent it is an honor system, but it is partially controlled by the system. If you go back and edit the post after the first time, the roll will be marked with the word "Fixed" indicating it was possibly changed. And if you restart from scratch, the little message indicating how many times you edited the post will go up, which should be a red flag too. That's why it is best to not go back and re-edit your posts after making a roll, just to avoid any doubts. If you want to make a roll and see the result before describing your next action, do it in two separate posts rather than editing the first one.

Sorry, things have been crazy this week for Shenna and I. I've been skimming the forums, but haven't focused much.

Is there much more we can do until AslanC is ready to pick things up? Plot-wise, we're ready to go to the ritual site, and that's about as far as we can go right now, right? Maybe I missed something.

Hey gang

Sorry for the absence, but the prep to get the first Zenith Comics product out is dominating my time right now.

As I have said, I will not be dropping this game, just need to get this product out so I can relax a bit ;)

Let's say the cult will be meeting just before dawn so that you can rp a bit more.

Maybe You can 'publish' Professor Magic character sheet in the Zenith Comics Presents: The New Centurions! (Info Thread)
