Heroes of Alpha Centauri Prime

So here is my idea for a game I am starting with some friends...
In the year 2280 the Sun started a 200 year process of becoming a Red Giant. Earth had to be abandoned, so the world rallied and built 15 Colonization ships, each launched over a 40 year period, sent out to various stars that had been found to have nearly Earth like conditions and would only take minor Terriforming to make habitable. Each ship had a launchable auto-terriformer it would launch to the planet once the ship was with in 100 years of arrival. Each ship was also made to be diasasembled and turned into the hub of the new colony until local resorces could be used for expansion. There were Satalites that the ship would launch upon reaching orbit, to maintain Communications with other colonies on other planets. Alpha Cen AB is a Bianary star system with 30 hour day cycles and as such the daylight ranges [depending on the time of year] from 10 hours a day to 24 hours a day. So far, no communications have been established with the other colonies, which means the other colonies have not yet arrived at thier destination or your was the only colony ship to suceed.

Three Generations ago, your ancestors colonized Alpha Centauri Prime. in the last 2 Generations mutations and strange poweres have started to appear in the Gene Pool. Primes, as they have been come to be known, are the Heroes of the world or the worst fear of the world. You are a Prime!

This is a good idea! There are several plots I can remind right now to apply to this setting.

In three generations the number of people shouldn't have grown a lot from the originals from earth, so is small enought that it could quickly become in risk of extinction.

The overall menace of an outside invasion/attack, the discoveries that can be made inside/beneath the planet surface, etc (maybe earlier civilisations?), the development of countries/nations/war amidst the colonists can give it a different twist from the "normal" supers game.

OK, so change of plans...

The group has decided to go with my less fleshed out idea and I will be running a game in Las Vegas called Vegas Daze and Vegas Knights...
