I certainly hope that LoS is not dead. These rules would be fantastic to use in the Primeval Thule setting when it comes out. I believe that Legends of Steel was the first of the two books due to come out and, since it only deals with magic on its lower levels, should be the easiest to complete. Unfortunately, Basic Action Games is just a one-man operation and AWESOME POWERS is a very big, time-consuming project. I doubt BASHMAN would stand to make any money on LoS if he were to contract out the writing chores (and might actually loose some).Jason_Sunday wrote:Is Bash Fantasy Legends of Steel dead?
Honor & Intrigue seems to be the hottest fantasy product in Basic Action Games' inventory so I can certainly understand if he puts a little of his limited energies in that direction for now. So while I'm not expecting to see Legends ofSteel or BASH Fantasy in the immediate future, I'm hoping that maybe BASHMAN could try for a Kickstarter campaign to help fund one or both of these books once Awesome Powers is wrapped up!

Jason: Absolutely Not! In fact, our very next Kickstarter is BASH! Fantasy: Legends of Steel. It is true, that I've been a bit overwhelmed lately working on Awesome Powers and an increased workload, and that has slowed things, but we're getting close.
The creator of the Legends of Steel setting has had some serious personal health problems lately which has made working on the Kickstarter somewhat difficult, but we're rounding a corner there too.
At DunDraCon (February) I'll be running an event using the rules from BF: LoS in fact.

Yes, it will be a Kickstarter. The rules are written. The art that needed to be done is done, but there has been an issue with layout. Also I decided to replace one of the art pieces. The hardest part of the kickstarter, however is preparing for it. Gotta make the graphics for rewards and stretch goals, make a video, etc. This semester and this past summer I have not had the time to get that part together (workload has been much larger than usual). The good news is next semester's work load will be normal, so I can devote some time to it (and get Volume 6 and 7 of Awesome Powers done, as well as a BASH! module and an H+I Module).Mruf wrote:Time is running away. What about the releasing BASH:LoS? Do ya proceed it? At what stage are works?
